About us
Hi, my name is Jocelyn. The idea of starting this nonprofit came to me as I have opened my mind to experiences, concerns, and areas needing attention in the community and world. Joined Puzzles is inspired by my younger sister, Jessica, who is autistic and happens to be extremely skilled at puzzles. Fittingly, puzzles are the official symbol for autism. As I have grown beside my sister for many years, I have developed a passion for supporting and assisting special needs children, which later widened my scope even more to the diverse lives of parents, siblings, and teens. Every person’s life is like a puzzle piece, each being unique yet sometimes difficult and complicated, but these pieces can be joined together with compassion to become beautiful as one coherent picture. By putting forth our efforts, we can be strong during our complicated struggles because we have each other.

Our goal at Joined Puzzles is to offer special needs kids, parents, siblings, and teenagers a welcoming and accepting atmosphere. By assisting them in coming together and realizing their maximum potential, we hope to inspire and empower them. We are dedicated to giving people the tools and support they need to live fulfilling lives because we think that everyone has the right to do so, regardless of their abilities. We want to create a supportive community for people with special needs and their families by promoting understanding, acceptance, and inclusion for all through our programs and services. With our assistance, kids, parents, and teenagers can join the puzzles of their lives together and build a brighter future.
“Alone, we can do so little; together, we can do so much.”
